For some it doesn’t start based in love, but motivation: to get somewhere else, something else, someone else. Inherently, these desired attainments aren’t bad, but they can be.
Many come in to music, acting, etc. because they have a love of the art-form in its purest sense – when no money is involved. Some come for the money, the stage, the drugs, the girls, the glam; you know, the “fun.”
The dictionary defines love as “an intense feeling of deep affection.”
A motivation is “the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.”
The unforgiving world of getting paid to entertain will give you (and the whole supporting cast) one constant: heartache.
Maybe you didn’t arrive with love, but it will only help to find some.
